Fees and practical information
How long will we see you for and how much will it cost?
We offer sessions that are usually 50 minutes in length. All face to face and online sessions are £155. We are currently not working with private insurance companies.
Sometimes it is necessary to have longer sessions to complete work together to help overcome your anxiety. In this instance session length and cost will be negotiated with you on an individual basis.
The number of sessions will vary from person to person but the evidence base, and our clinical experience, suggests many anxiety difficulties can be helped in between 12-20 sessions on average. We usually agree a fixed number of sessions with you and then review regularly, to make sure treatment is working in the way you, and us, hope.
Any correspondence or assessment reports should they be requested by you, will be charged additionally.
Where do you see people?
We see young people and families in a variety of locations including in their own homes (local post codes to Richmond only & travel costs will be discussed), via online platforms and, in clinic rooms in Kingston-upon-Thames ‘Cowleaze Road’ and other locations when necessary. Please contact us for more details and to discuss individual arrangements.
Cancellation Policy:
If you need to cancel a session please give at least 48 hours notice (ideally, via text message or email). If a session is cancelled with less than 24 hours notice, regardless of the reason, the session will be charged for in full. Missed sessions (where you do not cancel or attend) are payable in full.
Confidentiality and Consent:
All discussions and contacts by phone or email are confidential and will not be shared with anyone else without your permission, unless a risk or safeguarding concern is apparent. All professionals have a duty of care to protect children and adults they are working with. If a risk or safeguarding concern is identified during our sessions or contact with you, it may be necessary for us to contact your GP, local services or a family member. We will always try to inform you before contacting another person or agency. Please note that we will make an explicit signed agreement with parents and young people as to how / what information is shared with whom when working with adolescents.
